Top Pair Home Game Poker Podcast Ep. #349: Tommy Angelo and Lee Jones

By Robbie Strazynski
February 28, 2020

Bruce and Robbie welcome famed poker coaches Tommy Angelo and Lee Jones to the show to talk about their great new project called PokerSimple. They also have a short chat with Steve Fredlund, host of the RecPoker Podcast and rec.poker website, to welcome him and the show to the Cardplayer Lifestyle podcast family.

After some traditional home game recaps from our hosts, George Chao of BBO Poker Tables chimes in with a segment featuring all the information you always wanted to know about poker table armrests.

Finally, Ben Ludlow takes a look at the “important tradition of complaining” that some members of the poker community have in the lead up to the World Series of Poker each summer.

1:21How Ya Runnin?
1:30Just one home game that Bruce attended since last show; a dealer’s choice limit game; Bruce had an over 50% ROI!
3:10Thanks to listener, Woody, who chimed in on Twitter with his appreciation for our previous show, #348.
4:15Just one home game for Robbie; once again the second-biggest winner in the game… for a grand total of about $10 profit after making a charity donation. 8:54The hosts are joined by Steve Fredlund, host of the RecPoker Podcast. Steve tells us all about his show and its focus on building a positive poker community as we officially welcome Rec Poker to the Cardplayer Lifestyle Podcast Family.
