PokerGO Monthly Preview: September 2021

The month of August on PokerGO saw subscribers given a mix of options to satisfy their poker craving. Episodic content from Poker After Dark and Triton Million was met with live streams from Super High Roller Series Europe.

For September, subscribers will get the conclusion to the first half of Season 13 of Poker After Dark before the attention will be turned to two of PokerGO’s biggest live tournament series with Poker Masters and Super High Roller Bowl VI. Following that in October and November will be the granddaddy of them all – the 2021 World Series of Poker.

Poker After Dark

The midway point in Season 13 of Poker After Dark will be reached in the upcoming few weeks with “Fight Night” debuting with three episodes that feature Bruce Buffer, Peter Jennings, Maria Ho, Phil Hellmuth, Nick Wright, Jon Aguiar, and Daniel Negreanu playing a $10,000 buy-in sit-n-go.

Following that will be two episodes from “Everything in its Wright Place” that sees Nick Wright, Landon Tice, Phil Hellmuth, Alan Richardson, Melissa Schubert, Ema Zajmovic, and Eli Elezra playing $50/$100 No-Limit Hold’em. Poker After Dark will then be on hiatus until the WSOP wraps up before it returns with some amazing lineups and great episodes to wrap up Season 13.

New episodes of Poker After Dark are released every Monday at 8 p.m. ET.

Poker Masters

The Poker Masters returns from September 7-19 with 12 events playing out from inside the PokerGO Studio at ARIA Resort & Casino. The buy-ins start at $10,000 with the final two events being a $50,000 buy-in and a $100,000 buy-in Main Event.

Each of the Poker Masters events will play down to a final table on Day 1 before concluding the following day on at 4 p.m. ET. The PokerGO News Live Reporting team will also be on-site to provide live updates throughout the entire Poker Masters.

For the player that accumulates the most PokerGO Tour points throughout the Poker Masters, they will win the Poker Masters Purple Jacket and receive $50,000 in added prize money.

Super High Roller Bowl VI

Super High Roller Bowl VI makes its way to Las Vegas and the PokerGO Studio for the $300,000 buy-in freezeout that is set to attract some of the best players in the world. Running from September 27-29, each day will be streamed on with the PokerGO News Live Reporting team also on-site to provide live updates throughout the entire event.

What Did You Miss in August?

The highlight during August on PokerGO was Round 2 of High Stakes Duel III where Tom Dwan ended the winning streak of Phil Hellmuth. Dwan collected the $200,000 prize pool, but as of publication time he is still waiting to hear from Hellmuth if he’ll step into the challengers seat for Round 3 where $400,000 will be on the line.

Super High Roller Series Europe dominated PokerGO in August with the nine-event series crowning winners in Phil Ivey, Tony G, Artur Martirosyan, and Johan Guilbert. Early action from events were also streamed, while several high-stakes cash games featuring Tony G, Dan Cates, Rob Yong, Paul Phua, and Leon Tsoukernick also played out.

The series concluded with the $250,000 buy-in Super High Roller Bowl Europe that attracted 41 entrants and saw Wiktor Malinowski win the $3,690,000 first-place prize to be crowned the inaugural Super High Roller Bowl Europe champion.

Finally, three different weeks of Poker After Dark played out in August with the conclusion of “The Nosebleeds” where Daniel Negreanu, Matt Berkey, and others played $200/$400 No-Limit Hold’em. There was one episode from “Action Arden” which was highlighted by Teen Wolf actress Arden Cho, while three episodes from “Feeding Franzi” followed that saw Zach Franzi, Eli Elezra, Maria Ho, Nick Wright, Hish Salama, Daniel Weinand, and Joelle Parenteau playing $50/$100 No-Limit Hold’em.
