Hill Kerby grew up with a deck of cards always within reach at his parents’ homes, and was one of the millions to get seriously into the game in 2003 thanks to Chris Moneymaker. He primarily played online until Black Friday in 2011, when he moved away from the game temporarily to finish school.

Hill never got far away from the game, playing semi-professionally on and off through 2019 when he joined the poker media industry as a live reporter for PokerNews, where his interests in writing and poker have intersected to create new opportunities at connecting with people and making a difference in the world.
