In this episode of The Bernard Lee Poker Show on the Cardplayer Lifestyle Podcast Family, Bernard Lee interviews the veteran WSOP announcer, Norman Chad. He discusses his depression and difficult times during the COVID-19 pandemic. Recently, he has started his own #OokaLuka movement. Also, during this difficult time, Norman fondly remembers his favorite WSOP moments over the past two decades and also what he misses about the WSOP. He also discusses his own deep run in the 2020 WSOP Online Summer Series Event #28: $1,000 Omaha 8 or better – 6 max, where he ended up finishing in 13th place out of 525 entries.

0:04WSOP $5,000 Main Event (Event #77) is being held on GGPoker. 5,082 players entered the event and created a prize pool of over $27.5 million, the largest prize pool in online poker history. Day 2 began with 1,171 players with 728 finishing in money. As the day ended, 38 players are left led by 2017 WSOP Main Event 6th place finisher, Bryan Piccioli. With first prize worth $3.9 million, the players will return to the virtual felt on Saturday September 5th.
