Twitter is where it’s at if you’re looking to be a part of the poker community on social media. That said, finding sources of positivity within the community can sometimes be a challenge.
We’ve put together our list of the top 21 accounts you need to follow for positivity in poker. Let us know who else ought to have made the list.
As a longtime mixed games enthusiast, it pains me to see that so many fewer poker players partake in such games versus “just boring old Hold’em” gatherings. To help promote the “mixed game movement” I decided to host a proper meet up game for the first time.
It was held at Westgate Casino Las Vegas, and very good times were had. Check out a recap of what went down on this fun and special night of Dealer’s Choice shenanigans.
Think back to the most fun you ever had playing poker. Nice, eh?
Well, I recently had an experience that fits that description, playing in $4/$8 Dealer’s Choice mixed games with a group of like-minded poker lovers in the heart of Las Vegas.
I tried to capture the experience in words (and pictures), but to truly understand the joy we had, you have to experience it yourself firsthand. Hopefully, reading this account will encourage you to do just that.
Together with my co-host Bruce Briggs, I recently had the great pleasure of interviewing ESPN poker commentator and funnyman Norman Chad on episode 282 of the Top Pair Home Game Poker Podcast.
We put a lot of time and effort into doing research prior to the interview to ensure that we covered topics not yet explored in-depth via other interviews Norman has done over the years. As such, we were thrilled to get some great laughs and new stories from Norman in this almost hour-long interview.
Listen to the interview, which starts at the 3:45-minute mark. A transcript is also available.
