The Australian WSOP Main Event champion discusses the 2005 WSOP Main Event, including heading to Binion’s Horseshoe for the final 27 players and playing the final table. Joe also discusses his legacy and his WPT Five Diamond victory in 2006. Finally, he talks about the Australian Hall of Fame and the COVID-19 pandemic and how Australia’s strict regulations reduced COVID-19 cases to zero.

The final nine players are led by Brazil’s Brunno Botteon, yet headlined by Damian Salas who finished 7th in the 2017 WSOP Main Event. Next Tuesday, the players are scheduled to play live at King’s Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic. The US final table will be set next Monday Dec 14th online on WSOP.com, while the final nine will play on December 28th at Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV.
