Brian Cherry is a poker writer who started covering the sport back in the days when Kathy Griffin was appearing on shows like Celebrity Poker Showdown and the world still thought she was sane. Originally he worked for a website called Launchpoker.com. Following this he moved on to contribute feature articles to the World Poker Tour magazine as well as the Detroit Free Press.
Along with his work in poker he has written for a number of websites and penned a few novels. Today he lives somewhere out of bullet range of the city of Detroit where he works as an engineer and plays Hold’em at any casino that knows how to make a decent pina colada.
