The month of September on PokerGO saw subscribers given plenty of high-stakes poker with PokerGO’s longest running series in the Poker Masters, and longest running tournament in the Super High Roller Bowl, dominating the live stream schedule.
With both of those in the rearview mirror, all the attention now turns to the 2021 World Series of Poker that returns with a full slate of WSOP gold bracelet events following a hiatus in 2020.
World Series of Poker
The 2021 World Series of Poker will run from September 30 to November 23 with 88 WSOP gold bracelet events taking place from within the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
PokerGO is set to live stream 26 unique WSOP gold bracelet events including the entirety of the WSOP Main Event for the first time ever. Every live stream will be available exclusively on PokerGO.com with no blackouts on other networks, while episodes will be available on CBS Sports later in 2021.
The highlight of PokerGO’s streaming schedule will be the WSOP Main Event that will begin on Thursday, November 4, and conclude with two days of final table coverage on November 16-17. What Did You Miss in September?
The highlight of September on PokerGO was the Poker Masters and Super High Roller Bowl VI playing out from inside the PokerGO Studio at ARIA Resort & Casino. The 12-event Poker Masters would see every final table streamed exclusively on PokerGO.com as Shannon Shorr, Sean Perry, Adam Hendrix, Brock Wilson, Daniel Negreanu, Maxx Coleman, Stephen Chidwick, Chris Brewer, Miles Rampel, and Mikita Badziakouski all claimed Poker Masters titles.
Australian Michael Addamo won the final two events at the Poker Masters and was also awarded the Poker Masters Purple Jacket joining Steffen Sontheimer, Ali Imsirovic, and Sam Soverel on the list of winners.
Attention was then turned to Super High Roller Bowl VI that attracted 21 players and created a $6.3 million prize pool. Addamo, Justin Bonomo, and Sean Winter all finished in-the-money as it would be Addamo defeating Bonomo heads-up to win the $3,402,000 first-place prize and move into the top spot on Australia’s All-Time Money List.
The first half of Poker After Dark’s thirteenth season also began wrapping up as Nick Wright defeated Phil Hellmuth on “Fight Night” in a $10,000 buy-in sit-n-go. The season then concluded with two episodes from “Everything in its Wright Place” as Nick Wright, Landon Tice, Phil Hellmuth, Alan Richardson, Melissa Schubert, Ema Zajmovic, and Eli Elezra played $50/$100 No-Limit Hold’em.
