Riffld; the team behind industry series ‘The Orbit’, is proud to announce the debut of a brand-new online poker show entitled ‘Seat Wide Open’.
The live show puts an innovative spin on the traditional poker interview by introducing numerous game show segments in addition to a wide-ranging guest interview and analysis of their play.
The show’s pilot episode features Unibet Ambassador and co-host of The Chip Race Dara O’Kearney playing a 100-minute-long cash game session on Unibet Poker with his hole cards revealed.
Asked for comment, O’Kearney remarked “”The show is a real winner and I’m honoured to have been asked to appear as the first guest. I think poker fans will really like it.”

Among the game show segments are: Stake a Shark, Sing a Long, Hot or Not, and Review a Flick, with each mini segment designed to mimic the feeling of a TV variety show, while awarding series leaderboard points.
“Today’s poker audience increasingly wants a fun experience on top of a learning opportunity to continually tune in, and that’s why we came up with this particular format. We were laughing throughout the making of it, and we hope our twitch.tv/poker viewers enjoy it.” said Duffy.
Wiltshire added, “We all know poker players love to keep score and we’ve no doubt the Seat Wide Open leaderboard is going to have some big names in poker trying to outdo each other as the weeks go by.”
Fans can tune in live to the show to also ask each guest questions, both about their poker career as well as the poker being played in real-time. This adds a unique educational element to the proceedings, as the hosts pepper the guest with inquiries on why certain hands were played in certain ways, and how specific online poker situations ought to get handled.
In addition, there’s a competitive element for the interviewees who participate each week, as they strive to accrue series leaderboard points via their poker play (# of BBs won) and participation level in the game show segments.
New episodes of Seat Wide Open will air exclusively on Twitch.tv/poker.
