With the COVID-19 pandemic deeply affecting so many in the poker world, it can be difficult to remain positive. As such, it’s especially great to see that many operators and training sites are stepping up in this time of need to help support the community. One of the first to do so is Phil Galfond‘s Run It Once Training.
The first thing they did was to make the Essentials membership level (usually $24.99/mo) available for FREE to all users. In other words, all current free users automatically had their accounts upgraded, and new users can register for a free Essentials plan for the next month.
Now comes the news that Run It Once Training and leading Mindset and Performance Coach Elliot Roe have partnered to offer a substantial discount on his A-Game Poker Masterclass.
During this crisis to help the community I’ve decided to drop my A Game masterclass by 70% and will be doing weekly rather than monthly Q&A calls. I’d like to thank @RunItOnce and @PhilGalfond for helping to make this happen. https://t.co/Iv5sTCThf6

Sorry, Elliot, but I won’t accept any of the credit here 🙂. All your idea & it’s your valuable content that you wanted to heavily discount.
The addition of weekly calls is awesome, especially at a time like this. ❤️

The A-Game Poker Masterclass, which usually sells for $999, is temporarily available for just $297. In addition to the substantial discount, Elliot Roe will also be hosting weekly live coaching calls, where all students can submit questions to be answered directly by Elliot himself.
Remarks from Galfond and Roe
Phil kindly took a short break during his ongoing online poker heads-up challenge with Venividi to share his thoughts on the decision to drop the course’s price tag:
“I spoke with Elliot, who said he’s seeing with current members how anxious everyone is and how much they are benefiting from their calls. He wanted to discount the course, widen the group, and do the calls more often, so that he could help more people. I said ‘let’s do it!'”
Elliot was also kind enough to share his thoughts on why he thought it was important to make this offer to the poker community at this time:
“With the A-Game Poker Masterclass, we have a course that is incredibly valuable to all poker players, especially at a time like this where stress and anxiety are at an all-time high. Everyone is struggling right now in one way or another, and it’s more important than ever to put your best self forward. That’s how you can do your part to support yourself, your family, and your community.
Poker players are in a unique situation in which online poker is currently booming, whereas almost every other industry has been hit very hard. There is a big opportunity to make something positive out of an otherwise terrible situation, and I thought this was how I could best support the community in these tough times.”
Elliot has stated that the offer will stay on the table until the casinos in Las Vegas reopen, specifically the Wynn:
“I’m going to use the Wynn as a benchmark for this. They were one of the first to close, and they’re paying their staff while they’re off. So at the moment, they’re top of the list for me.”
