The Great American Poker Trip: Coachella Valley, CA
Surely everyone out there has heard a legend of a ridiculously juicy game. We made a specific stop along our cross-country poker road trip to the Agua Caliente poker room in search of such a game; one that has been rumored to be extremely lucrative.
We were fortunate enough to not have to be satisfied with the establishment’s typical $1/$2 NLHE far and gain entry to this semi-private PLO/PLO8 game. This is the story of how our session went. It was magical!

The Great American Poker Trip: Houston, Texas
Just prior to Hurricane Harvey slamming the Houston area, Jack Laskey paid a visit to the city to check out it’s underground poker scene. Sadly, the room he played in is flooded, and the city can of course use all the help it can get in the post-Harvey relief effort.
With all of that said, Jack was able to get a good feel for what poker is like in a region where the games most-assuredly lay low. High rake aside, underground poker in Houston offers a good time for all.
