What Did You Miss in October?
The highlight of October on PokerGO was obviously the beginning of the 2021 World Series of Poker live streams.
The month kicked off with the $25,000 No-Limit Hold’em High Roller that was won by Tyler Cornell, while Michael Addamo won the $50,000 No-Limit Hold’em High Roller for over $1.1 million in prize money.
Phil Hellmuth won his 16th bracelet, extending his lead to an astounding 6 over his nearest rivals (Johnny Chan, Phil Ivey, and Doyle Brunson), and made several additional final tables including a runner-up finish in the $10,000 Dealer’s Choice Championship, won by Adam Friedman — accomplishing an incredible 3-peat in this event — that saw the debut of the PokerGO five-cam stream and live chat. PokerGO also captured many other memorable moments of players capturing a WSOP bracelet which included Jason Koon, John Monnette, Anthony Zinno, Chance Kornuth, Michael Noori, Josh Arieh, and Tommy Le.
