They say a picture is worth 1,000 words.
I took tons of pictures on my maiden trip to the World Series of Poker. I’ve also written thousands of words describing the experience both pre-trip and post trip, including the Destination WSOP buildup, a “generic recap” post, and a description of what it was like to Stroll Through the Hallowed Halls at the Rio. There’s so much yet to come, in the form of more stories and pictures in future blog posts, so keep on checking back here at Cardplayer Lifestyle over the coming weeks as I continue to write and publish them.
While I certainly let the experiences come to me during my trip, I also did a good deal of trying to document it all in video form. Numerous short clips were filmed over the course of my sojourn in Las Vegas with the intention of producing a compilation clip. Thanks to the fantastic editing work of my friend Jonah Vella (follow him on Twitter), that idea has become a reality.
So, without further ado, go ahead and sit back, relax, grab the popcorn, and join me as I take you on a guided tour of my first World Series of Poker trip. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed producing it.
If you liked the video, it would make me really happy if you shared this blog post with your friends.
The one thing I kept on hearing over and over from people who I met during my trip was that they loved my enthusiasm. It was wonderful to see how that enthusiasm spread right in front of my eyes. It warmed my heart to bring smiles to the faces of grizzled WSOP veterans.
Let’s all do what we can to keep our passion for poker burning brightly.
