This week Jim Reid and the RecPoker RECing Crew interview Jeff Platt, a prominent poker broadcaster whose work has been featured on PokerGO, CBS Sports Network, and ESPN. Jeff is a sideline reporter for the World Series of Poker Main Event, a play-by-play commentator for PokerGO Tour events, and the co-host of PokerGO’s “No Gamble, No Future” alongside Brent Hanks. Jeff shares some stories about making his way into the world of poker media, and some tips for less experienced players who are ‘taking their shot’ in the big leagues. He also shares some lessons he’s learned, and the thing he hates most about his job! Plus we play Stake/Study/Stack with Norman Chad, Donnie Peters, and Nick Shulman.
