4 Types of Card Players You Meet Online and Offline

Card players are persons with character, no one is exactly like the other. But it is possible to divide them into several groups, from careful to risk-taking, from superstitious to down-to-earth. In this article we’ll introduce you the four main types of card players we’ve met in casinos and online casinos the world over. Maybe you’ll recognize yourself or one of your friends in one of the following characters. Have a careful look!

Ace of spades

The careful player

The careful player thinks long before each step. He or she does not like to act instinctively, it seems better to him to wait, see, evaluate and thereby stretching the nerves of all the others. Sometimes (or maybe even quite often) he or she gets nervous in risky situations and then slows down even more. It is not easy to have fun with that kind of player, and the great caution does not necessarily lead him or her to a lucky streak. It might be that the careful player is more of a loser than a frequent winner. Or the person is particularly intelligent and only pretends to be insecure – in order to skillfully pull you over the table: a tactic which is very promising especially in poker. Be suspicious and do not fall for it!

The risk-taking player

The risk-tanking player is the total opposite of the careful player. He or she likes to take risks over and over again. Adrenaline seems to be his daily bread. Whenever a situation becomes dangerous, this person will pick up speed and go for it! It may by quite easy to trick this type of player out, because he or she does not think enough and overreacts easily when he has licked blood. Playing baccarat with a risk-taking player means dealing with high stakes and a whatever-it-takes-attitude. Better be aware and improve your skills in advance. Visit the platform Asiabet to find a digital baccarat provider and have a few training sessions there. Browse through the pile of top casinos with a valid license for India and find the one that fits you best. Besides you can refresh your knowledge about the different strategies, the live dealer games and baccarat bonuses.

The suspicious player

The suspicious player would never sit down at the gaming table without the lucky charm firmly on the wrist. He or she avoids the number 13 like the devil avoids holy water. You can easily terrify this person with bad omens like a black cat or by simply putting your keys on the table (this really brings bad luck!). Another opportunity to irritate this player vigorously is to put away his or her mascot, but all these chess moves seem quite cruel to me. Perhaps you should simply take this player as he is und make the best out of the situation. If you are suspicious yourself, don’t hold on to your beliefs too tightly and try to see the real situation. In a particular case even the old, evil 13 might be a lucky number, just because all other signs point to victory. Trust in yourself and in your abilities, then life (and the game!) belongs to you.

The down-to-earth player

The down-to-earth-player calculates and objectifies everything he or she is confronted with. No suspicion, no beliefs, just pure facts. Intuition is abhorrent to him. In a card game you can’t know everything, it is always just your own little part you see. You can only guess which cards the others have in their hand, certainty is very, very rare. So these absolutely down-to-earth-players have quite a hard time. If you never ever count on your belly feeling, you sometimes get really lost. As an opponent, this is your chance! Try to confuse the other player, give him “facts” he cannot sort. If you yourself are very down-to-earth, try to listen more to your feelings, especially in unclear situations that you can hardly assess with your mind. A good balance should be your goal, because card players need both, the brain and the heart.

brain and heart

Most card players won’t cover exactly one type. We are all multi-faceted characters and we have very mixed personalities. So perhaps you are a mix of two, three or all four types. Use all your strengths and work on your weaknesses to get on the winner’s lane.
