January-July 2024 will be packed with live poker action from coast to coast as the RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) hosts 10 tournament series across the United States in the first half of next year.

Known for providing a big stage feel for all its events, the RGPS promises a unique ‘Destination RunGood’ experience to every player – culminating in the return of the Dream Seat Invitational sponsored by PokerGO at the end of the year.

RunGood Poker Series 2024 - Destination RunGood

Tana Karn, CEO at the RunGood Poker Series, conveyed excitement about the upcoming season, saying, “Destination RunGood is more than just a theme; it’s an invitation for players to experience poker as a way to explore the country. We’ve carefully curated the Spring Season to deliver excitement, camaraderie, and unparalleled competition.”

‘Destination RunGood’ Designer Rings for 2024 Event Winners

As a homage to the ‘Destination RunGood’ Spring Tour theme, the RGPS will award newly designed rings to event winners at each of the 10 tour stops.

These rings will provide more prestige for tournament champions, who will return at the end of the 2024 calendar year for a chance to participate in the exclusive Dream Seat Invitational.

DreamSeat Invitational by PokerGO

The 2024 RunGood Poker Series champion will qualify for an entry into the exclusive DreamSeat Invitational by PokerGO, with a guaranteed prize pool of $1,000,000.

“This exclusive event invites 2024 ring winners from all over to participate for a seat to represent the best of the best of the tour at the PGT Championship Freeroll at the PokerGO Studio,” Karn told Cardplayer Lifestyle. “The Spring theme, Destination RunGood, encapsulates the spirit of exploring the country through the game we love,” continued Karn.

The PGT Championship Freeroll will be filmed at the PokerGO Studio, as the “best of the best” compete for a $1 million prize pool in early 2025.

This year’s RunGood winner, Jeff Lennon, will be taking his seat at the PokerGO Studio on Tuesday, January 9th, 2024.

RunGood Poker Series to Build on 2023 Success

The RunGood Poker Series is a three-time Global Poker Awards winner for Best Mid-Major Tour. The 2023 RGPS outpaced “anything we’ve ever done before,” Karn posted in a recent X thread.

And 2024 will undoubtedly be even better. Per Karn, “On top of our goal to give every buy-in on the schedule a big stage feel, we’re continually adding new partners and finding new ways to make playing the RunGood Poker Series a unique experience than what is out there.”

‘Destination RunGood’ Kicks Off January 16th in Oklahoma

The Spring leg of the 2024 RunGood Poker Series begins on January 16th in Catoosa, Oklahoma, at the Hard Rock Casino.

In January 2023, Oklahoma native Pete Petree took home $62,911 for his 1st place effort in the $600 buy-in Hard Rock Tulsa Main Event. That RGPS tournament attracted close to 650 entries (a record at the time) on its own.

To make reservations in advance of the January 2024 Destination RunGood kickoff series in Tulsa, you can contact the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa poker room directly through their official website.
