Poker Book Review: Life’s a Gamble
Poker Hall of Famer Mike Sexton’s influence on the poker world is arguably second to none. What he has accomplished in his storied career, both as a player as well as a promoter of the game, is well documented. Mike has just penned his first book, called “Life’s a Gamble” in which he gives readers and poker fans a front row seat experience into what it was like from his perspective to have been such an integral part of the poker world and its maturation over the years.
Longtime Sexton fan, and co-host of the Top Pair Home Game Poker Podcast, Bruce Briggs penned this great review of Mike’s book. Read it to understand why it’s such a worthwhile book to buy.

Calling for Merit-Based WSOP Dealer Compensation
Typically, experience and expertise are things worth paying a premium for. It’s time for the WSOP to change the status quo and do the same, as far as dealer compensation is concerned.
This blog post calls for poker players to sign a petition, asking that the WSOP begin rewarding their dealers based on experience and excellence. It is my sincere hope that you support the initiative.

What I Learned From My First Poker Massage
While enjoying a massage at the World Series of Poker, I came to an epiphany, which I’d like to share with you all. While the idea of getting a poker massage isn’t revolutionary or a “big deal” in any sense, I decided to write about my first one in order to document the lessons I learned.
Hopefully you’ll appreciate them and take them to heart.
