Israel’s 2nd Annual Variety Charity Poker Tournament Raises $300,000 for Special Needs Children
For just the second time, Israel played host to a large-scale charity poker tournament fundraiser. Attended by local celebs, business people, and other notables, the event succeeded in raising $300,000 for special needs children through the Variety Fund. Notably, the event’s profile was boosted by the participation of poker pros Melanie Weisner, Michael Mizrachi, and Patrik Antonius, who flew in from abroad to play and show their support for the charitable organization’s efforts.
