Cardplayer Lifestyle will be hosting its thirteenth Mixed Game Festival, a 10-day affair at Resorts World Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
We’re proud to announce that Mixed Game Festival XIII will be held once again at the fabulous Resorts World Las Vegas. It’ll be our first two-week-long festival at the 5-star venue, taking place from March 8-12 and March 15-19.
What’s sure to be another fun-filled stretch of mixed game poker will include four tournaments, namely:
- Monday, March 9: $300 “Miami John” Cernuto Commemorative O/E
- Thursday, March 12: $300 T.O.E.
- Monday, March 16: $300 8-Game Mix
- Thursday, March 19: $300 T.O.R.S.E.
All tournaments are scheduled to begin at 12pm and will allow for four hours of late registration (until the end of the second break).
Alongside the four tournaments, nonstop dealer’s choice cash game action will be spread every day at limits as low as $4/8, with $6/12, $8/16, $20/40, and higher stakes available upon request.

Sunday, March 8: Kickoff Pizza Party
We’ll get the show on the road with our traditional pizza party. Come and take your seats in our cash games at 12pm while enjoying a FREE slice or two of Mulberry Street Pizza.
Monday, March 9: $300 “Miami John” Commemorative O/E Tournament
We’ll be running our traditional $300 buy-in Omaha 8 or Better + Stud 8 or Better tournament, honoring the legacy of “Miami” John Cernuto, who won this event the first time we staged it during Mixed Game Festival IV.

Tuesday, March 10: Lexy Gavin-Mather Book Signing
Accomplished pro player and vlogger Lexy Gavin-Mather will be joining us at 11:30am to sign copies of her acclaimed D&B Poker book: Mastering Small Stakes No Limit Tournaments (read our review here). She’ll also be staying for a while to splash around with us in the mixed game streets.
The full proceeds of all book sales will be donated to PokerGives (read more about them here).
Wednesday, March 11: Trivia Competition (11:30am start)
We’re bringing back our popular trivia competition! This multiple choice Kahoot-style battle of wits will determine which of our players knows the most about poker and Mixed Game Festival history. Prizes will be up for grabs for our top three finishers.
* Note: We’ll be charging a symbolic $5 fee to enter the trivia competition, with all proceeds being donated to Poker Gives.
Thursday, March 12: $300 T.O.E. Tournament
We’ll be running a 2-7 Triple Draw + Omaha 8 or Better + Stud 8 or Better mix tournament for the first time, showcasing poker variants from all different disciplines – Draw Games, Flop Games, and Stud Games.
Sunday, March 15: Pizza Party
The only thing better than FREE pizza? Even MORE free pizza! Come join us as we kick off week 2 of our dealer’s choice cash games starting at 12pm.
Monday, March 16: $300 8-Game Mix Tournament
In another Mixed Game Festival first, we’ll be running an 8-Game Mix tournament featuring the H.O.R.S.E. mix along with 2-7 Triple Draw, No Limit Hold’em, and PLO.
Tuesday, March 17: Trivia Competition (11:30am start)
Week 2’s Trivia Competition will give all our players who didn’t have the opportunity to join us in week 1 the chance to win some great prizes. Be sure to study up on your poker and Mixed Game Festival history to give yourself the best shot of winning!

Wednesday, March 18: Women’s Wednesday
Our special program is set to begin at 10am and be hosted by Women in Poker Hall of Famers Lupe Soto, Linda Johnson, and Jan Fisher. The program will focus on teaching and practicing 7-Card Stud and 7-Card Stud 8 or Better. Both men and women are welcome to attend this FREE seminar. REGISTER HERE.

Thursday, March 19: Grand Finale $300 T.O.R.S.E. Tournament
With T.O.R.S.E. gaining popularity versus the more traditional H.O.R.S.E. mix, we’re happy to “give the players what they want” and offer a $300 buy-in TORSE-ament as the Grand Finale of Mixed Game Festival XIII.
Mixed Game Festival XIII: What Else?
We’ll have a free-to-enter “last longer competition” during our two end-of-week tournaments (T.O.E. and T.O.R.S.E.). The last player remaining in each tournament still wearing a Pokercoaching.com patch will win a free 1-year Premium membership valued at over $1,750.
As always we’ll be publishing daily recaps that highlight all the action during our Mixed Game Festival, and you’ll be able to find them right here on Cardplayerlifestyle.com. In addition, both of our Monday tournaments ($300 O/E and $300 8-Game Mix) will feature bonus live reporting coverage courtesy of Pokerreporting.com.
A Pokercoaching.com Player of the Day will be selected for special recognition on each day of the Mixed Game Festival and will have “their story” written up. Players selected for this recognition will receive a free hat as well as a complimentary 1-month Premium Membership to the poker training site.
We’ll also be featuring a RunGoodGear Dealer of the Day section in our recaps, where we highlight the personal stories of some of the wonderful dealers who work so hard to provide wonderful service to our players.
