Poker in Latin America is growing year by year. Evidence of this includes the four WSOP Circuit stops scheduled for 2026 and a new one already announced for early 2027. In addition to the WSOP Circuit, major festivals take place throughout the year in countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, and Uruguay.
For those looking for great poker festivals in Latin America that combine the action of the game with excellent travel destinations, we have put together a summary of the festivals taking place during the remainder of 2026 and early 2027. Now is the time to choose your next poker destination and try to add a new Latin American flag to your Hendon Mob profile.

CAP Iguazú
The sixth stop of the year for the Argentine Poker Circuit (CAP) is currently underway at City Center Iguazú. The festival features 14 events, with buy-ins ranging from $150 up to $1K for the High Roller. The Main Event has a $500 buy-in and features four starting flights. Playing in the Iguazú CAP is the perfect excuse to visit one of the natural wonders of the world: Iguazu Falls. They are truly awe-inspiring and can be admired from above via walkways or from the water on boat tours. The bravest visitors can even take a tour to see the perilous Devil’s Throat. Another place to visit in Iguazú is the Bird Park on the Brazilian side.

WPT Global Festival
The WPT Global Festival will take place from September 26 to October 4 at the Santo Domingo Bay Convention Resort in the Dominican Republic, located right by a stunning beach. You can qualify online on the WPT Global platform. The series will feature four tournaments:
- NLH Open: September 26 and 27 / Buy-in: $250 / Guaranteed: $10K
- High Roller: September 28 and 29 / Buy-in: $1K / Guaranteed: $20K
- Main Event: September 29 – October 4 / Buy-in: $700 / Guaranteed: $150K
- Second Chance: October 3 and 4 / Buy-in: $300 / Guaranteed: $20K

CAP Buenos Aires
The seventh leg of the year for the Argentine Poker Circuit (CAP) will take place from October 3-11 at Casino Buenos Aires. While the official schedule has not yet been announced, the lineup will certainly include the Monster Stack, High Roller, Mini Main Event, Super High Roller, and the traditional Main Event. It is a great opportunity to explore the Argentine capital and everything it has to offer: theaters, museums, soccer stadiums, zoos, musical shows, shopping malls, and restaurants.

Winner Poker Series Medellín
The final stop of the year for the Winner Poker Series circuit will take place from October 21-November 2 at the Casino Hollywood in Medellín, Colombia. The festival will feature eight events, with buy-ins ranging from COP$700K ($240) to COP$3M ($1K) for the High Roller. The Main Event will have a buy-in of COP$2.2M ($700) and a guaranteed prize pool of COP$800M ($260K). You can view the full schedule at this link.

KSOP Río de Janeiro
The 2026 King Series of Poker Grand Final will take place from October 28-November 6 at the Sheraton Grand Rio Hotel & Resort in Brazil. The festival will feature 43 events with buy-ins ranging from R$500 ($100) to R$25K ($5K) for the Super High Roller. The Main Event will have a buy-in of R$5K ($1K) and a guaranteed prize pool of R$1M ($194K). You can view the full schedule here, and online satellites will be held on GGPoker.
The hotel hosting the festival is located across from one of Rio de Janeiro’s most beautiful beaches. The city offers many places to visit, such as Cristo Redentor, Pão de Açúcar, the Maracaná football stadium, AquaRio park, the Rio Sul Shopping Center, and the beaches of Copacabana, Ipanema, and Leblon, among others.

BSOP Millions
BSOP Millions is the grand finale of the Brazilian Series of Poker and has become the most important and popular poker festival in Latin America. The 2026 edition will take place from November 13-28 at the WTC Sheraton Hotel in São Paulo. The festival will feature over 100 events — including NLH, PLO, and mixed games tournaments — and nine High Roller events, including the Super High Roller Main Event with a R$500K ($97K) buy-in.
These will be the festival’s standout tournaments:
- Start-Up Mystery Million: November 13–18 / Buy-in: R$1.5K ($300) / R$1M ($194K) Envelope
- Main Event: November 16–23 / Buy-in: R$5K ($1K) / R$ 10M ($2M) Guaranteed
- Millionaire Maker: November 18–24 / Buy-in: R$1.2K ($235) / R$5M ($975K) Guaranteed
- BSOP Championship: November 21–28 / Buy-in: R$25K ($5K) / R$15M ($3M) Guaranteed

WSOP Circuit Panama
The WSOP Circuit will visit Panama for the second time in its history from November 5-15 at the Sortis Hotel & Casino. The festival will feature 12 events with buy-ins ranging from $300 for the Gladiator to $3K for the High Roller; winners will take home gold rings and $5K packages to use at WSOP Paradise 2026. The Main Event will have a $1.7K buy-in and a guaranteed prize pool of $500K. There will also be a “Player of the Series” ranking, where the winner will take home $10K and a unique trophy. CAP Rosario Grand Final
The Grand Final of the Argentine Poker Circuit (CAP) will take place from December 12-20 at the City Center Rosario convention center — the same venue where footballer Lionel Messi’s wedding was held. It holds the record for the highest number of tournament entries in Argentina, and thousands of registrations are expected for the Main Event. While the official schedule has not yet been released, the Main Event is expected to have a buy-in of between $500-$600.

BSOP Summer
The first stage of the 2027 BSOP will take place from January 22-30 at the Sauipe Resorts in Costa do Sauípe, Brazil. While the schedule has not yet been released, it will — as always — feature a Start-Up, a Main Event, and several High Roller events. The venue is a comfortable all-inclusive resort that players and their families can enjoy. It is an ideal spot that combines beach relaxation with the action of the best poker in Brazil.

WSOP Super Circuit LATAM
The inaugural WSOP Super Circuit LATAM will take place in early 2027 at the Hard Rock Casino in the Dominican Republic. The festival runs from January 24-February 2 and features a $3.5K Main Event with a $2M guaranteed prize pool. Tournament champions will win the traditional gold rings, and online qualification for the Main Event will be available via GGPoker.
