In this episode of The Bernard Lee Poker Show on the Cardplayer Lifestyle Podcast Family, Bernard Lee interviews Joe Cada who recounts his experiences during the false rumor of an “Active Shooter” in Las Vegas. Then, Bernard speaks with Matt Glantz, who was the winner of 2022 WSOP $1 Million Mystery Bounty.
At the start of the interview, Joe talks about his initial experience in the Bally’s casino floor. Joe describes the scene outside of the casino and the injuries he witnessed. Joe headed to Planet Hollywood and talked about the scene there. Then, went back to Bally’s and described the aftermath. Joe talks about the perspective and the learning lessons from this incident. Joe talks about returning inside to the poker room and describes the chaos, shock and mess of the room.
During the second part of the interview, Matt recalls his start in the world of poker, especially mixed games and not playing as much since COVID-19 pandemic. Matt recalls the WSOP $1 million mystery bounty and the unique addition of the mystery bounty which kicked in on Day 2 of the tournament. He also described “peeling” the $1 million bounty. Matt talks about the strategy at the end of Day 1 and during Day 2 of the WSOP $1 million mystery bounty tournament. Matt talks about how much fun and excitement of the WSOP $1 million mystery bounty tournament was including his tweet about the event.
