February may be the shortest month of the year, but PokerGO will again be packing a punch when it comes to new releases

The shortest month of the year will still pack a punch on PokerGO with new releases rolling out for the entire month of February. There are 16 new episodes scheduled for release on PokerGO this February with the newest seasons of High Stakes Poker and Poker After Dark continuing, while WSOP Europe episodes will begin airing with the WSOP Europe 2008 Main Event.

PokerGO Preview February

High Stakes Poker

The halfway point in Season 8 of High Stakes Poker has been reached with two line-ups filling the first seven episodes of the new season. There is one more episode from the current line-up before a new line-up will fill out the February episodes with 15-time WSOP bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth, venture capitalist Chamath Palihapitiya, WSOP Europe 2010 champion James Bord, and 10-time WSOP bracelet winner Phil Ivey making their Season 8 debuts.

Jason Koon and Tom Dwan will also be returning for the $400/$800 No-Limit Hold’em game, which could easily feature more huge pots that Season 8 has already produced. In Episode 5, Tom Dwan scooped a nearly seven-figure pot when his pocket queens held against the queen-ten of Lynne Ji and ace-king of Jean-Robert Bellande when they ran it three times. In Episode 2, Bryn Kenney would be one of the first players to reach for a rebuy after losing a pot worth nearly $900,000 when his flopped set was run down by Rick Salomon. Watch the hand play out below.

New episodes of High Stakes Poker are released every Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET.

Poker After Dark

Following Cry Me a River and The Bratty Bunch weeks, Season 12 of Poker After Dark continues in February with The Fantastic Five week. The $50/$100 No-Limit Hold’em game will feature Matt Berkey, Sam Soverel, Jake Daniels, James Romero, and Lynne Ji for three episodes before One Bourbon, One Shot, and No Fear week will see six new players playing $25/$50 No-Limit Hold’em. Soverel and Daniels will make their second consecutive Poker After Dark appearance while being joined by Chris Johnson, Jonathan Little, Alex Ding, and Justin Young.

Both Ding and Young appeared on Cry Me a River week that was headlined by Antonio Esfandiari and Ben Lamb. Those two players were involved in an incredibly memorable hand that saw Lamb run down Esfandiari’s flopped trips in a pot that totaled nearly $270,000. Watch the hand play out below.

New episodes of Poker After Dark are released every Monday at 8 p.m. ET.

World Series of Poker Europe

With the WSOP bracelet event episodes concluding with the WSOP 2015 Global Casino Championship, WSOP Europe now takes center stage on PokerGO, with 30 unreleased episodes set to air through May.

The WSOP Europe 2008 Main Event will be featured throughout February over eight episodes that conclude with one of the longest final tables in WSOP history. Heads-up play between John Juanda and Stanislav Alekhin would last more than seven hours before Juanda would capture his fourth WSOP bracelet and the £868,800 first-place prize.

New episodes of WSOP Europe are released every Tuesday and Friday at 12 p.m. ET.

What Did You Miss in January?

WSOP episodes continued with the WSOP 2015 National Championship and WSOP 2016 Global Casino Championship.
