Poker fans already know of Joey Ingram’s long love affair with the great game of Pot Limit Omaha (PLO), but it’s a special privilege to actually sit at a live poker table and mix it up with the grand papi himself.
I had the good fortune of being able to do just that. Let’s just say it was an extremely GTO move. The laughs and memories will stick with me forever. Join me as I fill you in on all the details of what went down.
In an effort to bridge the gap between casual fans of live poker and the “more hardcore” world of online poker, we’ve decided to start a series of articles recapping the appearances of some guests on the popular Poker Life Podcast, hosted by Joey Ingram. First up in the series is successful poker backer Mark Herm, known online as “dipthrong”.
One of the things I love being able to do with this poker blog is turn the mic around on those who produce poker content. Though he’s not “officially” a member of the poker media, “Chicago” Joey Ingram has built a tremendous following over the years amongst hard core poker fans who love listening to and watching his interviews and conversations with the world’s top online poker pros and other behind-the-scenes people in the poker community.
His face and voice are familiar to practically everyone, but it’s ultra rare for Joey to “give up the host’s seat” and allow someone else to ask the questions. So, big shout out and thank-you to Joey for graciously allowing me to “conversate” with him. I hope everyone out there enjoys what he has to say.
