As of August 31, 2014, the poker room at Showboat Atlantic City has been shut down.

Showboat is the northernmost property on the Atlantic City Boardwalk and an excellent place to take a poker vacation. The hotel casino is themed to feature Mardi Gras-style festivity and the action throughout its 100,000+ square feet of gaming space couldn’t be hotter! At the Showboat, you’ll be staying in one of 1,331 rooms and playing poker in a House of Blues-themed 24-table poker room.

One of the better promotions offered at the Showboat poker room is a free buffet with 5 hours of cash game play; just 2 hours if you’ve entered a tournament! With Showboat’s French Quarter Buffet having been voted tops in Atlantic City, this is one perk poker players should definitely take advantage of!

Poker Room Information

Four daily Texas Hold’em tournaments take place at the Showboat, along with plenty of 24/7 cash game action. Other poker room promotions include earning double comp dollars and free entries into $10,000 and $50,000 freerolls for those players who’ve accumulated 50 hours of live cash game play and who’ve won the daily tournaments, respectively.
